English Pub Sign

I went to another auction on Saturday. It was a bit surprising because there was a bunch of interesting stuff and decent real antique furniture. It was a wonderful summer day here on the tundra, about 85*, sunny with a light breeze. It was a good day.

I bought a wonderful old English pub sign. SUEB did some research for me and determined that it was from a pub in East Anglica and that the sponsoring brewery (Steward & Patteson) had closed in 1963. You never know what I may stumble over here in the middle of the continent.
