Another Spot of Flannery House

I have been on the road for my real job for the past couple of days. As I have said before, I have a real job to support this habit.

I have put together some photos of the family room. My carpenter was really a cabinetmaker. I would give him a line drawing and maybe a couple of pieces of architectural antiques and he produced fabulous interior fixtures for my house.

I had 8 matching stained glass buffet doors from about 1910. Donny produced this fabulous entertainment center to house the TV and then swing around the room incorporating the fireplace and mantle.

Clocks, toys, prints and pottery sitting on the top of the entertainment center.
Some of the stained glass, slag glass and reverse painted lamps that put a wonderful glow to the family room at night.
Notice the interior stained glass window above the large TV and the genuine Victorian elephant foot stool under the chair to the left of the TV.
This is an antique modular blue print cabinet that I use as an end table.
This 1880's solid roll top desk was once in the office of a Vice President of the Great Northern Railroad in St. Paul. The desk lamp is a genuine Tiffany Zodiac lamp.

Nothing special about this post, but I do like my house and many of the antiques that I have gathered over the years.

Mr. Flannery

Okay - it is ALL super gorgeous - I'm drooling over every little thing... but the blueprint cabinet... ohmygosh that is incredibly cool!!! I think I would have it front and center so I can look at it every chance I got!!!And the cabinetry! Whew!

I'm going back for a 14th look. LOL

Have a good one!!!
