March at Second Hand Rose

I finally have some time away from my real job. It feels good to be back at the blog instead of hammering away on WordPerfect. (I may be the only person in the World who doesn't use MS Word).

I went to Buffalo today on a very efficient trip. With gas at $3.45, efficiency is a minimum requirement. I did banking, groceries, Walmart and then decided to stop in for dealer day at Second Hand Rose. The shop will be restocked and tweaked for general sales starting on Thursday.

Susan's dog motif upholstery is cool.

The feed store sign is great.

This c.1930 wall hanging oak school map case sold while I was there.

I like the way that these posts are suspended from the ceiling.

I WILL be posting at least twice a week, I made that promise to myself.

Can you get away from your real job to come to the Flea Market Under Glass? Thurs, Fri and Sat at Otten Bros Garden Center in Long Lake. Hope you can come!

Guess we'll just have to hope you can stop by The PORCH on your next venture to Buffalo! I hear about Peter sightings from time to time. Thanks for sharing SHR, nothing like it - great old stuff.

No...you are not the only one to use Word Perfect. There is one guy in our office who refuses to use MS Word. Word Perfect is what he knows and for goodness sakes he is not going to change. It is one of his little quirks (among many) that makes him unique to our office.

I found you through Margo's Junkin' Journal! The way you write cracks me up! Love the stuff at Second Hand Rose and Gypsy Lea's. The displays are fabulous! I'm envious at all the treasures you find at the auctions! Sorry you didn't get the red truck though! It's a beauty!
