Does it Need Paint?

I bought this center island(?) cart on wheels last Thursday at Miller's Auction. It is in reasonably good shape and has been cleaned up?

So the question is: can I put it right into the shop or does it need to be painted first?

I think it looks nice just cleaned. I would leave it to the new owner to decide if paint is needed.

My two cents...paint the bottom. Leave the top so it could still be used as a counter/island in a kitchen. What color? Tough one. Maybe distressed black. or Lipstick red. :)
