Reset for the Weekend

I had sales at Second Hand Rose on Thursday and Friday sufficient to justify bringing in another load of good stuff to refill and reset for the weekend.

One of my favorite "new" pieces is this 1830's inlaided walnut tilt top tea table. The top is sufficiently shabby to show her age, but the legs are beautiful.

This marble topped washstand is a marriage. The base is an 1850's piece while the tile back splash is from the 1880's. It is a sympathetic marriage and seems to have worked for a long time. The large blue and white transferware bowl and pitcher is 1880's English and the dishes are a 30 piece luncheon set in the Christmas tree pattern.

I like the look and feel of this rose pattern hooked rug.

Even with the reset I still have chairs on tables on other tables. I just brought the rose needlepoint chair into the shop.
