Mindy - This is a photo of one of 4 1930's club chairs that I bought years ago. I think that I need the 2 chairs that you just found to complete the ensemble. Mine are around a primitive game table. The style is great.
No the bouncy one is in the sunroom. These are probably for dining or otherwise sitting around a table. What makes you think that you'll outlive me? Funny thing is that none of the people around me here think much of the chairs. It must be some more of that Texas sympatico thing.
Good grief... both of you have me drooling... and cussing. LOLOL
That's okay though - let Mindy sweet-talk you out of those two - I'm holding out for the aluminum ones that you think you might have like my main man - Mr. Shaw Walker. LOLOLOL
;-) I'm tellin' you - you belong in Texas... how did you get so far up North?
I’m a guy who has somehow fallen into the shabby world. A shabby chic world of shabotaged furniture and foo foo accessories. My stuff tends to be outside of the cottage without much chic, shabby or otherwise. My things are the hogs in this world of roses. Thus the title: Hogs and Roses. (Please look at my 1st post "Why Hogs and Roses?")
I want to be Henny Youngman, when I grow up. Take my wife -- please!
I enjoyed 7 years of marital bliss (17 years of marriage). I have been divorced forever. Love my role as curmudgeon, comedian, sage and advisor.

Oh, my! Your chairs are beauties! Do they bounce? Mine are springy. Love 'em! What information do you need to leave those to me in your will? ~Mindy

Mr. Flannery, you make a fine point. If you'd like me to die happy, you better ship them tomorrow morning. ~Mindy
