Of Books and Cats and Granite Counter Tops
I love books. As I wrote earlier, I have piles and piles of books. I went to an auction last week and bought 8 boxes (for $15). I am bringing a bunch of books into Gypsy Lea's for the October sale. I price them low because I want them to go. I cannot throw out a book. That is a sacrilege. I shutter at trashing even the most mouldy and disarticulated book. I have piles of old encyclopedia that I may some day cut apart and frame.

Oh my - I love books...and I'm with Ann, you could end up with a whole building full of books HA! I won't admit to the lamps i make out of old ones or the "rolodex's" i make out some more old ones - oh, OOPS! I promise, they weren't very interesting and in bad shape!!!
I might be all about ruffles and duct tape, but I'd lift that tractor book out of your hands in a heartbeat! heehee
It is an unforgivable sin to throw away a book, right? You did the right thing! Check out what Lori does with books. It takes courage to rip off covers, but I love the look. http://roundbarnpottingco.blogspot.com/2009/09/book-fetish.html
Are you going to Kari's fall barn sale this year? Wish I could be there.
P.S. I love your animals!!! Very wise ones and well read they are...
I can't take a picture of Fatty the cat due to the fact that I don't think there's a camera lens that wide...
red.neck -- Send me your address and I'll ship you the Tractor book.
Sigh, I love books too. I have too many of them and no place to put them. I have been slowly weeding them out but it is soooo difficult.
